Doors Stick or Floors Slope—Foundation or Something Else?

Short answer: Sticking doors and sloping floors can relate to foundation movement—but they can also come from dry winter air, door hardware, framing, flooring install, or normal house aging. Look at the pattern: one sticky door after a dry spell is different from several doors and floors changing together after snowmelt, irrigation season, or a long drought.

When to request an estimate

Request an estimate if sticking or sloping is new, spreading, paired with cracks or exterior gaps, or affecting how you use the house. If you’re preparing to sell in Aurora, Centennial, or Parker—or you just bought and something feels off—an independent evaluation is cleaner than guessing.
